Reine Marie "Boots" Thompson

Reine Marie "Boots" Thompson passed away Monday, the 27th of October 2014, in Houston, Texas at the age of 89. She devoted her life to her late husband CW "Bill" Thompson and her sons, James William Thompson, Thomas Carl Thompson and John Scott Thompson, all of Houston, Texas. She is survived by her sons, and daughters-in-law Connie Thompson and Karen Thompson, grandchildren Amy Middleton, Jenny Morace, Thomas Thompson, Brooke Thompson, Rachel McConn, and great grandchildren Luke Morace, Abby Morace, Jack Morace, Richard Middleton, James Middleton, Colton Thompson and Adaline Thompson.

The Thompson family wishes to thank the staff at Autumn Leaves of Meyerland and Blue Bonnet Palliative Care for their kindness and a special thanks to Jakiesha McBride of Autumn Leaves for her love and kindness.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening, Thursday, the 30th of October in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

A funeral service is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning, Friday the 31st of October in the Chapel of the Angels on the grounds of Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street in Houston, where the Rev. Mary Lewis, Chaplain with Blue Bonnet Hospice and Dr. David Dinneen of Bethany United Methodist Church are to officiate.

The interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
