He began his career at Finger Furniture before finding his true calling as an HVAC repairman for the Houston Independent School District, where he became one of the best in his field.
A man of simple joys, Rey never met a stranger. He had a gift for conversation and made friends wherever he went. He loved watching pro wrestling, especially when his favorite, The Rock, was in the ring. His happiest moments were spent in his garage, listening to his beloved jukebox, sipping on a cold Miller Lite, and sharing stories with his neighbors.
But above all, Rey treasured his family. Whether offering words of wisdom, lending a helping hand, or simply enjoying a meal together, he was at his best when surrounded by those he loved. His kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
