

Ricardo Gonzales, 61, was born September 26, 1964, in Houston, Texas, and passed away on February 27, 2026. Ricardo will be remembered as a hard-working, humorous, and cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Born to John Gonzales and Rosa Tobar, Ricardo graduated from Sam Houston High School.
Ricardo dedicated 40 years to a career in healthcare, including 15 years of service at Memorial Hermann. His commitment to his work reflected the steady, dependable way he approached life—always showing up, always giving his best.
Ricardo met Beatrice Cruz in high school, and they were married on March 3, 1990.
A man with a true passion for traveling, Ricardo especially loved to cruise or plan a family trip to Disney World. Known for his quick wit and warm humor, he could make everyone in the room laugh and always had a funny story to tell. Above all, Ricardo was a family man—someone who not only worked hard to provide, but who made sure he was present for major milestones and went above and beyond to ensure everyone around him was having fun.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Gonzales; his mother, Rosa Tobar; and his father, John Gonzales.
Ricardo is survived by his daughters, Paula Gonzales and her partner Patrick Joseph, and Veronica Gonzales and her husband James Rodriguez; his grandson, Julian Janas; his siblings and their spouses, John & Stella Gonzales, Albert Gonzales, Anna & Ubaldo Mendez; as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
