On September 30th, 2025, Robert Earl Holman went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was surrounded by his family as he transitioned to Heaven. Born December 9th, 1949, to Raymon And Modell Holman in Jacksonville, TX. He grew up in Troup, TX. Rob accepted Christ as a young boy and even was the song director at Blackjack Baptist Church. He attended Troup High School and graduated valedictorian. He went on to get his bachelor's from the University of Texas. Rob moved to Houston in 1973 to build an amazing life. In Houston he met his future wife Glenda and they married in 1975. In February they celebrated 50 years of marriage. His work ethic was one we all strive for. He had been with Blackstone Insurance Services, Inc. for over 25 years. His knowledge of insurance and capability of closing the deal was unmatched. Saturday mornings would find him watching college football. He loved his football almost as much as he loved his family. Rob could build or fix anything. This was an instilled value from small country upbringings. These same traits were passed to his sons. Providing for his family was the most important thing in his life from past, present, and into the future. He made sure his family had anything they ever wanted or needed. His legacy will be forever.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Ruth Holman, sister Dorothy Branham and husband Ken Branham, son Cory Holman and wife Devin Holman, son Cody Holman and Loren Cudemo, grandson Holden Dugger, and granddaughters Hannah Dugger and Emmeline Holman, as well as his nieces Jennifer and Jessica Branham.
