Bobbie and I were high school classmates …class of 1980! I used to get on his nerves! 😂 He helped me so much through Algebra 2-Trig class. He was like a personal tutor....truly a Godsend! He was always a gentleman, very polite and also very funny! My deepest expressions of sympathy go out to the family. May his soul rest in the comfort of our Heavenly Father’s arms.



We grew up on the same block in his hometown. He was a very good friend of mine. Big brother type to me. I send my sincerest condolences to the family.

Please know my heart is heavy because I feel the emptiness of not  being able to hear Bobby’s voice on Wednesday nights.   I will miss him and so will the Wednesday night Prayer Warriors.  Through the Wednesday night prayer calls our family bond was increased and I thank God for our special time.
Keep in touch because I treasure you...his family.  He possessed that loving touch for you three.  
As you heal, magnify all the precious memories.   I have precious memories of 2 years ago when I shared a lunch with Bobby, his son and others. I thank God for that memory because it will forever remain in my heart.  Memories are precious.  Be blessed.

Bobby was kind and caring. He was my first cousin. His father and my mother are siblings. I was 4 months older than Bobby. We both were Engineers. I will miss my cousin. Robert Jefferies and pledge Alpha Phi Alpha together at the same time gaining very similar experiences and sometimes identical memories that helped Us to see and know exactly why you’re called “Line Brothers- LBs.” Yes, we laughed a lot and share some painful experiences too. And all 13 of Us went the distance together! I pray God grant you and your Family peace that surpasses all understanding. 
While this is a difficult moment right now, y’all just hold on to God’s unchanging hands and word, cause there is sweet joy when morning comes. I thank you for serving Rob well, even though it feels he left Us to soon.

Rob, you are the most genuine, kind and caring Line Brother I have. Thank you for checking in on me and my family as often as you did. My personal success in life is directly attributed to support I received from you in college. Always the gentle big guy with a big heart, and a positive & supportive attitude. I join the family and many friends 
to celebrate the life of Robert Jeffries.    I can truly say he was a brother and friend to me.  We met as engineering school classmates at  Prairie View A&M University and later pledged together into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc..  In knowing him you quickly recognized his genuine sincerity, big heart (a person you could depend on) and bubbling sense of humor. Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed.

What a great loss to our fraternal brotherhood, his family, and many others who knew Rob.  He was one of the most sincere, giving, loving, smart, and compassionate brothers I've come to know throughout my life.  "If he had something and you needed it, you got it". Rob was my line brother in the Spring of 1984  , Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. at Prairie View A&M University.  Rob always had a big heart and was always there for others. I will miss my brother and will always love you.
