Robert Bobby Lee Melcher

Robert Lee Melcher (Bobby) was born into this world in El Campo, Texas on May 15, 1965 and left us too early on October 25, 2014. Bobby was the sound of laughter, and all his family and friends are remembering him for that special gift and sharing in the celebration of his life for the short time he spent on this earth. Bobby had a great love for his Family, Friends, his Dogs and Architecture. He had a grand passion for his Houston Sports Teams and was a true sports fan.

His work career included 13yrs at Service Corporation International (SCI), Teaching Texas Inmates reading skills and various law offices as a freelance paralegal research assistant.

Earning his education scholarship working with AmeriCorps for two years, Bobby was able to attend Lone Star College and obtain his Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.

Bobby is survived by his Mother: Emma Ortega & Husband, Sisters: Anna Navarro & Husband, Rosa Charlaire & Husband and Michelle Melcher, Brother: Tony Melcher & Wife. Along with many Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Nieces, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins all of whom miss him very much.

Although you are gone from us now, we know you are in a better place and at peace. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts daily and make us smile when we think of you and hear your laughter far off in the distance.
