I am so sorry about your dad. I also sorry I couldn't be at the service.

I am watching some kids play baseball and it reminds me of all times with your dad, Richie, Brad, and all the guys. 

Richie's post was right on. I remember his pens, fishing boat, and softball bats. I remember building the fence between our yard. Those things will always be with me. You and your dad were such a large part of my life.

Sylvia, please accept my condolences in the loss of Bob.  He was a great sales rep for us here at Hallmark Office Products for many years. I only got to fish with him once but I knew it was his passion. We will miss him very much.  It was wonderful to see him just a short time ago when he made a surprise visit to our office here at Hallmark; we laughed and cut up just like we did when he called on us back in the day.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Bob was our S. P. Richard's representative for many years who became a dear friend.  Our thoughts and prayers to his family.  May the memories bring you comfort and time bring you peace.

Bob was one of the most professional sales reps in our business who was also one of the best guy to go fishing with if you just wanted to catch fish and not spend much time on conversation while fishing. Bob was totally focused on catching fish and not idle conversation. Bob was always willing to pitch in and help in work or in play and successful in anything he set out to accomplish. Bob will be missed.

I worked with Bob  in sales @ Boise Cascade years ago. When he left Boise we became competitors for many years. Always up beat when we met socially and talked about  his fresh water fishing and I  telling tales of my salt water trips. Bob will be missed.

I "THANK THE LORD" THAT BOB PASSED THROUGH MY LIFE AND WAS A GREAT FRIEND. HE LEAVES WONDERFUL MEMORIES FOR MYSELF AND ALL THAT KNEW BOBBY. I worked with Bob at Boise Cascade Office Products over 30 years ago.  I was in the warehouse and Bob was in sales.  God bless you all.

Since my family first moved across the street from the Rosplocks on Earlmist Drive in Timberlane in 1981, Bob was like a second dad to me. He wasn't afraid to yell at me and treat me like one of his kids. Between our two households we had an open door policy. Well, actually we had to knock once, but then we were allowed to enter each other's home at will. But from the start we were family. When I learned of Bob's passing I quickly sat down and wrote out whatever came to my mind when I thought about Bob... and here is the list in its entirety, in the order the thoughts came to me, unedited and unfiltered...

His Tom Selleck stache.

Him frequently tanning on a reclining lawn chair in the back yard, lathered in baby oil, in basically a speedo.

Cleaning fish in the garage.

Puzzles on the dining room table.

When Ryan jumped his BMX bike, over rotated and landed square on his back, and Ryan was breathless and barely managed to utter "Go get my Dad!" I went and got Bob and told him that Ryan was dying -which I thought he was. I couldn't believe that Bob walked so slowly down to the bike trail when his son was about to breathe his last breath! Bob knew Ryan would be fine...but we were 8.

Bob introduced me to several seminal rock albums including Led Zeppelin 4, Foreigner 4, and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. Records, by the way. Not CDs. 

Bob cooking the best "chili" I've ever tasted. Well he called it "chili" but I'd say it was closer to elbow macaroni and spaghetti sauce. Delicious.

Virginia Slims and Benson and Hedges cigarettes, just seeing the packs...he never gave me one.

Tons of cash laying around on the counter next to his keys in the kitchen. SP Richards must have paid Bob in $100 bills.

Boxes and boxes of pens in his trunk. Free samples?

Softball bats in the garage and Red Man Plug.

Night softball games at Parkwood and Slo Pitch City.

Bob introduced me to a dinner of dove and quail for the first time. And probably the last time.

His beer fridge ALWAYS stocked. Lots of Coors and Keystone.

Horseshoe tourneys for Brad and Bob would ALWAYS sport the Bingham tee shirts. I remember him either winning or finishing second in almost every tournament. He took these tournaments VERY seriously.

Our somewhat recent talks of my new-found faith in Christ, and his. This, being my fondest memory.

I'm sure there are so many more if I dug deep enough but those are at the top of my mind. All good memories that I look back on in fondness, with love and a joyful heart.

Bob Rosplock will be sorely missed.

I'm thinking there are a lot fewer fish in heaven now than there were a week ago.  Bob was a truly good man, true to his word, totally devoted to his family and a good friend.  RIP Joe Bob!!!!

Growing up with Bob as my brother was an honor and I will cherish all of the moments we shared together.  From the beginning,  Bob enjoyed being in the outdoors and I was fortunate enough to get to share the love of freshwater fishing in local lakes on a boat or on the ice as well as hunting frogs and small game with him.  After Bob moved to Houston, we had chances to go dove, duck, duck, goose hunting, which became a favorite.  It wasn't long before bass fishing became his passion and led him to catching a record setting bass on Lake Conroe weighing in at more than 13lbs.  He then turned to the Gulf Coast for more fishing fun.  
I prayed I could save his life as he once saved me from drowning in a local pond when we were kids, but unfortunately he is gone.  I will always remember Bob as a great outdoorsman, but most importantly, he was my best friend and a great brother.

Rest in peace Bob Rosplock. I didn't know you well, but you were a hard person not to like! Always with a smile and we surely loved the love you expressed to Sylvia in the photos posted in face book. Sylvia, I know you will miss him, but the memories you have with him are like gold, precious. So, hold on to them and know he will be with you always. Our prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We are here for you. Coffee, sugar, a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. It was difficult enough living through a loss of a spouse once, my heart goes out to you for your second round of grief. I know you loved Bob and took very good care of him. Every man should be so blessed.

RIP Bob Rosplock. While I did not personally know you, I feel like I did through all of you and your family's posting on FB. I know you were greatly loved and will be missed dearly by those you leave behind. My prayers are with you and your family.

Mom I Love You and thank you for staying with Bob day and night by his side praying for Him and comforting him during his time until the end.  I know Bob loved you for your love and dedication as his wife.  With all my love your daughter Myra.
