A proud graduate of Smiley High School, Rollie built a long and dedicated career in the commercial glass industry, working for Texas Tempered Glass and Binswanger Glass for over 31 years. He also served his community for 23 with the Harris County Sheriff's Department.
In Houston, Rollie met the love of his life, Dallas Fay, and they married on May 7, 1983. Together they built a life filled with family, community, and love.
Rollie had a gift for friendship and a heart for simple joys. He loved flying model airplanes, riding around with his two dogs on his golf cart, sitting in the driveway, and chatting with neighbors. His presence brought comfort and kindness to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Johnny Meloy, and his sister Elouise Enloe.
Rollie is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dallas Meloy; daughters Heather Genovese and her husband Tommy, and Krystle Meloy; and his beloved grandchildren: Kaylee Walker, Talia Genovese, Aella Genovese, and Kasen Meloy. He is also remembered fondly by a number of nieces and nephews.
A man of loyalty, humor, and quiet strength, Rollie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
