Dear Roman,s dad i know you probaly can't read this but your son is a great kid he knows how to brighten everyones mood he always makes me and antonio smile and he is so sweet when he wants to be I hope one you will look over this and see what a great kid he is....Thank you for your service.

Mi compadre Gerardo! Un gran seré humano lleno de alegría, sabiduría,amor para todos los que estaban a su alrededor! Muy compartido con sus ser para todos siempre estirando la mano para ayudar a quien se lo pidiera! Compartimos muchos viajes en familia formidables le gustaba mucho la aventura y explorar lugares diferentes pero a él le fascinaba ver las estrellas pues disfrutaba de lo majestuoso de estas! Hoy después de haber iluminado y guiado el camino de mucha gente y siempre compartiendo lo mejor de el! Dejas una bella familia que hoy voltean a ver más las estrellas buscandote en el firmamento pues en este sendero de vida que iluminastes,  hoy guías a tu bella familia desde el firmamento! Roman was  dear friend with a heart of gold. He made every coworker feel seen and heard. He was the type of person who would send you a facebook video to make you laugh and gleefully smile as he asked you if you saw it.  He was the type of friend who not only heard you, but LISTENED to what you had to say. His warm smile and unique laugh were just a few hallmarks of what made him so special to all he met. I will miss our jokes about cats, brags about Whataburger, and the million other laughs we shared.  May you rest in peace dear friend. 

Roman was a caring sensitive individual who seem to care deeply for his family, friends, and co-workers.   Always quick to smile and help you could see he was a kind and thoughtful man.   He was one of those people who gave you added strength to make it through your day and to be optimistic when you felt down.  Roman was a  respected and very liked person and will be sorely missed.  My heart goes out to the Medina family during this time of great loss.

I meet Roman back in 2008 as a co-worker in XJT and throughout all the years of knowing him during our careers together, he has always been the kindest and most caring person you can talk too but most of all a true friend. Roman will be missed deeply! My condolences and may God embrace you and your family in comfort during this difficult time.

I first met Roman back in 2016 returning back to work for United Airlines and we both worked the 737 fleet desks and I could tell right off the bat he was a very special person by his personality, eagerness to help others and his qualities of a genuine person as well as his laugh.. we all knew when Roman was around when he laughed. I was truly shocked when I found out this horrible news. My thoughts and prays our with you Medina Family god bless you and god speed Roman, I'm going to miss you my friend.. 

Roman will be greatly missed by his United family. He was such a source of knowledge and cool resolve, we all learned so much from him.  He often spoke of his family and how to next upgrade his truck. He taught so many of our team members and was loved by everyone he worked with in the NOC. We will miss him dearly. 

Roman will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.  Roman was a great coworker and always brought a smile to my face when I found out he was my relief.  I will miss you brother!  My deepest sympathy to the Medina family.

I accepted a job with United in 2012 and moved to another position with the Line Planning Team in late 2012.  Roman was someone you could always talk to like he was a brother who worked with you.  I never met a more kinder soul.  Hearing the sad news of his passing immediately brought tears to my eyes not just because I lost a co-worker but his family lost a great caring dad,husband and friend to many others who knew him.  The Lord has taken you away from us but we all will cherish the memories of your friendship.  RIP you kind soul.  We will all miss you

In memory of Roman.  
He was such a pleasure to be around. When the group started in Chicago,  he was the one of the first to work midnights so we interacted everyday.  Back then we adjusted to all the work that was given to us since the group moved to Chicago and no one came up from Houston.
Roman handled everything situation wonderfully and professionally. He was a good man who commuted to Chicago for a long time just to support his family which his family should be proud of him to do that.
God Bless your Family during this process and time will heal.

Roman was always there when I needed him after joining a very new department for me. I was located all the way in Newark, NJ but he was able to help me from many miles away. You will be missed brother. A good man. My condolences to all his family members, friends, and colleagues. He will be missed greatly.

Roman was a man that could bring light to any dark moment.  I would see him in the Mornings after coming to work,  he would be awaiting his relief.  He was always in good spirits and would make it seem that every evening was uneventful and nothing bad had occurred.  He was a good man and will be missed by many.

My sincere condolences to Roman's family and friends. I had the chance to work with Roman on the operational floor of the Willis tower, Roman was always there in case someone needed help. Knowledgeable, friendly and all around a wonderful person.
He will be missed.
