Roman Rene Rodriguez, 57 of Houston Texas passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born in Houston Texas on September 15, 1968, to Roman Garay Rodriguez and Luz Rivas Rodriguez. He was a loving husband, father and friend.
Roman married Bernice Castillo in 1991 and together they built a life filled with love and laughter and welcomed children Roman Jacob, Brittany Alaina and Samantha Victoria.
Roman had a career in manufacturing and courier services for numerous years. He enjoyed playing, coaching, attending numerous school and Houston sporting events and being self-appointed sports commentator. He was a community servant and volunteered at Humble district school parent sporting events, Humble Area Football League, Humble Girls Softball League and various softball traveling organizations.
Roman is survived by his wife Bernice, son Roman Jacob Rodriguez and wife, Maricela. Daughters: Brittany Alaina Calderon and husband Antonio and Samantha Victoria Sanchez and husband Luis. One granddaughter, Leila Evalyn Rodriguez and mother, Imelda Sanchez and one grandson, Santiago Antonio Calderon. His mother, Luz Rivas Rodriguez, sister, Sonia Rodriguez Valdez and husband, Eleazar, brother Scott Rodriguez and wife Dora and numerous family and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors, nurses and staff at Baylor St Luke's Medical Center that cared for Roman throughout the years. We are also blessed by the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends.
