Romelia Rodriguez

Romelia was born and raised in Villa Clara, Cuba. She, her husband Pedro, and her daughter Toni moved to the United States in 1980 with other Cuban refugees. She was the proud mother of Olga Antonia "Toni" Ashton. She loved spending time with family and was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They moved from Florida to Texas in 2017 to be near their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was known for always being happy and cooking something delicious. Friends and family were always greeted with a warm smile and big hug.

Romelia is preceded in death by her mother Amada Diaz and her father Bonifacio Castellano. She is survived by her husband Juan Francisco "Pedro" Rodriguez, her daughter Olga Antonia "Toni" Ashton (Neil Edmund Ashton II), her grandson Michael Edmund Ashton (Emily Ashton), her great-granddaughter Catherine "Cate" Ashton, her great-grandson Jaxson Edmund Ashton, and her grandson Mathew Edmund Ashton.
