

Ronald Kelley went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the age of 79. As a native Houstonian, he attended Reagan High School, class of 1950, and worked at the North Main Theater where he met Nancy. He knew from the minute he saw her he was smitten; it was love at first sight.
After serving four years in the Navy, he earned his degree from U of H while working at Exxon, where he retired after 41 years. Everyone knew him as a very humble, giving, & selfless man who always thought of others before himself. In his spare time, Ron was an accomplished artist, known for his western paintings and portraits.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, brother, and sister. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy; children, Michael and wife, Lynn, Cathleen Paulson and husband Lawrence, Mark and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Kyle, Sara, Katelyn, Colin, Courtney, & Brett; great granddaughter, Brooke; brother, Richard Kelley; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 800 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6th at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7th at the chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the MS Society or a charity of choice.
