I wanted to send my condolences to Ron’s family.  I worked for Ron for 8 years at Intrado in Longmont, CO.  Ron had a great sense of humor and seemed to get a kick out of his team(s) conversations when we would give each other a hard time.  He often spoke of his family and would give me guidance based on his experiences.  It was very clear he loved his family.  Though I worked for Ron both directly and indirectly throughout those years, I formed a relationship with him outside of work.  Ron and I would meet up for lunch from time to time and I enjoyed those visits. I only wish there could have been more.   Thank you Ron for the guidance over the years…I still find myself passing along the same guidance to my teams.   My thoughts and prayers to the Mathis family.

My condolences to Ron's family.  I knew Ron from the phone company and later as a consultant doing business with Intrado where Ron went to work after his SBC retirement.  A good man, he will be remembered by many who worked with him and knew him well.

My husband, Ron Wyatt, and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your husband and father, Ronald Mathis. Both of us worked with Ron at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was one of the most intelligent, fair and managers with the highest integrity! We considered it a pleasure and honor to work for him and with him!
We know that he is resting in the arms of the Lord!

Ron was a good person and telephone manager. He was great to work for and with. I had the privilege of doing both.
