Ronnie Fairchild, 81, of Bonham, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Houston.
Ronnie was born in Bonham to Thomas and Hattie Belle Fairchild on July 5th, 1944. On April 9, 1971, he married Nancy Sellers in Houston. Together they built a life centered around family, hard work, and shared adventures.
Ronnie was a skilled pipe maker and the founder of Fairchild Pipes, a company he proudly operated for 47 years. He was deeply involved in his children’s lives and participated in many extracurricular activities, including coaching several Little League teams. He treasured those years on the field and the time spent mentoring young athletes.
An avid fisherman, Ronnie loved spending time on the water with his family.
He also had a passion for travel and was proud to have visited every continent except Antarctica. Whether close to home or across the world, Ronnie’s greatest joy was being with his family. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Hattie Belle Fairchild, and his daughter, Anna Belle Fairchild.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fairchild; his sons, John and wife Carmen of Houston, Matthew and wife Jaime of Houston, Ray and wife Andrea of Hartford, and Mark of Chattanooga; as well as his grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
