Rosalie was centered around her loving family. She was an avid cook and carried on the Italian traditions that her mother instilled in her. She loved to prepare wonderful meals and bake her famous Christmas cookies, especially her beautiful and delicious Cucidatis which would take many days to prepare and arrange on Christmas trays. She had her tradition of handing them out to her family and friends to enjoy each year.
Rosalie and Pete had a great circle of friends and family, and loved to entertain them often at their home and at their bay house.
She was a legacy member of Ami ketas, a valued member of Charity Guild where she has a passion for preparing and decorating the Saints table at all the St. Joseph Altars, which she did for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josie Marie Mattaliano and Louis V. Costa; and her husband Pete J. Beniretto.
Family left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Mary Jo Schindler and her husband John; and her granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Schindler.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Farrington at Tanglewood as well as her personal caregivers, Consuelo Canuse, Michelle Ordonez and Linda Pettit.
