Rose Adela Salvat

Rose Adela Salvat, age 84, of New York, New York passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Rose was born September 18, 1937 to parents Oscar and Rosa Romaguera. Rose attended Queens Community College. Rose followed her education becoming an executive secretary, Interpreter (Legal and business owner), and later a Macy’s associate. She had several special achievements including being a leader in the St. Francis Catholic Community, started the first Spanish Mass at St. Francis Catholic Community, and was a leader in the community. Rose was a dedicated member of St. Francis Catholic Church and later became a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Koronczok and husband Brad (Cypress, Tx), Rebecca Salvat (Houston, Tx), and Anthony Trivetti-Salvat and husband Rob (San Francisco, Ca). Grandchildren Matthew Koronczok and wife Eva (Weatherford, Tx), Katie Koronczok (Port Lavaca, Tx) and Dante Barreiro and wife Bianca (Miami, Fl). Great-grandchildren, Silas Koronczok, Rex Koronczok, Vincent Koronczok, Joanna Koronczok, Augustrine Koronczok (Weatherford, Tx) and Aimee Barreiro (Miami, Fl). Sibling, Susie Johanson (Humble, Tx).

A service for our beloved Rose will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home – Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095. Burial to be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
