

Roseshalla Lacole Blake entered this world on August 4, 1985, as the beloved baby girl of Calvin and Audrie Blake. On May 28, 2025, she transitioned to her eternal home in heaven, where she now rests in everlasting peace.
Affectionately known as “Cole” to her close family and friends, she was a proud native of Houston, Texas. Raised in a home rooted in faith, love, and resilience, Roseshalla radiated a vibrant, free spirit from an early age. Her bright and bold personality carried a special aura that naturally drew people in.
She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2004, where she made lifelong friendships and blossomed. In her neighborhood and community, she was a familiar, joyful presence, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Roseshalla was known for her radiant smile, unapologetic voice, and her gift for lifting others. Whether through a kind word, a heartfelt prayer, or her infectious laughter, she brought joy and comfort wherever she went. She loved music, cooking, family gatherings, and most of all, spending time with her children... always finding beauty in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Her greatest joy and pride came from being a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Roseshalla is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Annie Dell and Woodie Johnson; paternal grandparents, Pearline and James Blake; aunts, Doris, and Linda Blake; and uncles, James Blake Jr. and
Ervin Johnson.
She is survived by her loving parents, Calvin and Audrie Blake; her beloved children, Jay’ceon and Janiy’a Blake; sister, Tiffany Blake; niece, Tayoona Blake; and a host of extended family and cherished friends who will continue to celebrate her life and carry forward her legacy of strength, faith, and unwavering love.
Though she has departed from this earthly life, the light of Roseshalla’s spirit will forever shine in the lives she touched. Her journey continues in the arms of her Savior, and her memory will be a guiding star to all who loved her.
