Rosie Gonzales, age 78, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital- Memorial City. She was born December 14, 1942 in Houston, TX, the daughter of Dorotea Cabellero.
Rosie was a homemaker. She lived in Houston, TX her whole life. She was fierce, supportive, helpful, a great party organizer and a fighter to her last breath. Rosie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons and one daughter: Michael Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Benjamin Padron, Gabriel Padron and Dorothy Padron; 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She's preceded in death by the father of her children Benjamin Moreno Padron, her uncle Jesse Gonzales, her aunts and mother.
A visitation for Rosie will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 12 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. Internment will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023.
