Roy G. Flores Sr.

Roy G. Flores Sr., age 79, of Houston, TX passed away on Tuesday August 1, 2017. Roy was born November 1, 1937 to Isabel Flores and Carlos Flores. Roy had a passion for boxing, football (Oiler's Fan) and loved his only granddaughter, Jade. He was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves after service from May 1959 to April 1965.

Roy is survived by; son Roy G. Flores; son Adam G. Flores; grandchild Jade Lopez and husband David Lopez, Sr.; great grandchild David Lopez, Jr.; great grandchild Madeline Lopez and great grandchild Camille Lopez.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Flores; father Carlos Flores and mother Isabel Flores; brother Charlie Flores and brother Roland Flores.

A visitation for Roy will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 6:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039. A burial will occur Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
