Royce E Alexander

Royce E. Alexander, 75, born in Galveston, TX on June 11, 1941 and passed away on July 3, 2016 in Houston, TX. His parents were Carl B. Alexander and Doris White-Alexander. He graduated from Christi Ray High School in 1958.

He was the husband to Ruby F. Alexander for 50 years. They were married on June 4, 1966 in Houston, TX. Royce was the father to two children, his son Troy E. Alexander who is married to Tammy Jean Alexander, and daughter Susan L. Kuglar-Alexander who is married to Michael Henry Kuglar. Royce had four grandchildren: Jacob Dillan Andrew Alexander (preceded in death), Zachary Thomas Alexander, Brianna Abrielle Kuglar, Devin Riley Kuglar and step-grandson Brayden Reed Kuglar.

Royce worked as a machinist and truck driver in the Oil and Gas industry for nearly 40 years. He was a father who loved taking his son to Astros baseball games and never missed a game attending his youth sporting events, and attending his daughter’s dance events. He loved his wife of 50 years and shared many fond memories with her throughout their time together.

Services for Royce will be held at the Family Chapel at Brookside Cemetery on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 am, and visitation service will be held at Brookside Cemetery on Sunday evening from 5-7 pm.
