Mrs. Reeves was my favorite teacher of all times and I will greatly miss her she was an inspiration to me and always had the best interest in her students. RIP love ya

Mrs. Reeves was my teacher at Royalwood.  She was the best teacher I have ever had.  She also went to the same church as my mom.  I would go to church with my mom when I was in my 20's and 30's if Mrs. Reeves was there she would always say there is my girl.  She was such a sweet, sweet lady.  An angel is surely looking down on us now.

May the beautiful memories of Ms. Ruby Reeves, provide the bereaved family with comfort now and the days to come. You have my sincere condolences.

I remember Mrs. Reeves from Royalwood, although I never was her student, I have fond memories of her.

Aunt Ruby was my first grade teacher.She was a big reason why I love reading and always have. She was kind,courteous but also efficient. We learned what we needed to know. She brought copies of the ABCs to my mother who put them up on the wall of our room and I began learning them when I was four. She encouraged my mother to purchase the 12 volume set of My Book House and my mother began reading all of the stories to me. My favorite was "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." Reading is still my favorite thing...Aunt Ruby was a lovely person, gracious, charming. She and I always talked at family events since we were both teachers and thoroughly understood each other. There were no age barriers with her.She was great fun. Love to her family from us: Martina, Sandra and A.L., Jr.

Mrs. Reeves was instrumental in my love of reading, books, literature and wanting to learn. What a beautiful gift to bestow upon an open mind! Strength, Peace and Love be granted to her family and friends; Much like she gave us, within those four walls and beyond.

Mrs. Reeves blessed all the lives she touched.

Deepest condolences to the children of Mrs. Reeves, one of the many wonderful teachers at JW Oates Elementary in Houston.  She was one who was full of compassion and concern for many of us students there, as well as raising such wonderful and beautiful children.  Her great legacy remains in you, her family.  May the Almighty continue to bless the Reeves Family.

She raised an amazing family and touched the hearts of many through her teachings!  God's blessings to her family and friends!

Mrs. Reeves, I will always remember my visits to your house.  You were my brother's first grade teacher (your last class at Royalwood), but you were also my friend. Praying for your family, friends, and former students. Love you!

She was a great neighbor.  She was one of the reasons we purchased the home beside her on Royalwood.  She took us in and was always there.  She will be greatly missed.
