Ruth Janice Patterson Jeffers

Ruth Janice Patterson Jeffers was born in Commerce, Texas on August 30, 1922 to William Patterson and Elsie Cox and passed away on July 24, 2015. She almost made it to her 93rd birthday. She was beautiful to the end. She loved clothes and dancing was a great joy and passion for her. She loved doing the line dance, two-step and waltzing especially. She was able to listen to music and then play it by ear on the piano. We loved for her to play two favorites - Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Boggie-Woogie.

She married Aubrey Kenneth Anderson (passed away in 1970) in 1945. They had four children. In later years, she married Mark Jeffers who passed away in 2000.

Her siblings-Bertram Patterson, Geoffry Patterson, and Jerri Emerson preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Sharon Wright and husband Jerry, Richard Anderson and wife Carmen, Philip Anderson and wife Linda. The youngest child, Mark Anderson, died in 2008 at 47. She has five grandchildren - Shane, Starr and Sarah; Tiffany and Daniel; and nine great grandchildren - Justus, Emilee, and Hunter; Layla, Christopher, and Gage; Lily; Victoria and Robert. Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Sister-in-laws Daisy and Juanita.

She was proud to have lived in her home for over 61 years.
