Hello Family,  I am a neighbor who lived in the back of Ruth and Charles.  They were both beautiful individuals.  They often took walks, and that is  how I met them.  I had came back to the neighborhood several times, but was not able to see anyone at home when I stopped by.  They were so hospitable and caring.  Now they are together again.  Thanks so much for contacting me via text message.  It was my pleasure to have known them.  ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with Ruth, for over ten years, at Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia. Clients loved her and the ease with which they could communicate with her. She was kind and thoughtful. Ruth never failed to send my wife and I birthday and holiday cards for decades after she moved to Texas. We called each other on birthdays and other special days. We will miss her very much.

In dear remembrance of Ruth and Bud.  God has a way of guiding us if we let Him. Loving people enter our lives as is God's plan.  Who knows why - it is a blessing though. 
Ruth and Bud relocated to Houston from Philadelphia around 1981. Ruth took a job as an Executive Secretary in our accounting department at Dresser. She graciously took those in the department under her wing. Like me, some of us 20 somethings were on our own trying to establish a career, make new friends and spread our wings. We all depended upon Ruth to keep us organized and to respect each other. 
Ruth and Bud had a loving home. Their boys, Charles and Mark, were fun too. People always want to flock to a loving and welcoming environment. The Dresser gang was at the Stadtfeld's religiously utilizing their pool, drinking beer and margarita's and eating food. It kept us out of trouble. Me more than most felt the Loving Environment. They had dogs and Noah the Boa. I enjoyed many Sunday pm dinners with the family. Eventually they confided in me to complete their taxes.
I got to experience the Philadelphia Tasty Treat specialties and whatever foods they bought back from their vacations. 
My wife and I met because Ruth and Bud embraced everyone they met. Jackie and a couple other girls were their neighbors. Eventually we dated and the rest is history.
We and I will always have a special place in our heart(s) for Ruth and Bud.  I am sure God has welcomed Ruth and Bud home with a loving embrace. They were loved by many for their constant graciousness.  Jackie and Ed Hauser

Ruth and Charles were always active in their church and communities. We were very close since we were teenagers. 
They and their patents and siblings were all very close and active in the Moravian Church.
Please accept our sincerest condolences to all her family and friends. Ruth and her family are a blessing to all who knew them.

Ms Ruth was a devoted woman who focused her life in helping those with disabilities.  My daughter with disability brought my family to know Ms Ruth as Transportation Staff.  She passionately helped in making sure we get my daughter ready for school bus and informed us when the bus was running late. She will be greatly missed.  I know she has ran her race well and a crown has been given to her. It's hard to say goodbye Ms Ruth.

Met Ruth at my school...she was our plant lady at one time...and we just became friends.  Always loved talking to her about our families and our health.  We both love cats! She was such a sweet lady and will surely be missed !

The name Ruth means friend or friendship and Ruth was all about community and giving.  She was a mom, grandmother, den mother to our scout troop and like a second mom.  Her home was always open to all and she became quick friends with people she met.  She loved animals and they loved her.  Ruth was a true friend to many and will be missed by all.
