Ryllis was a good woman. She loved her family and was a faithful loving wife. She was a wonderful loving gentle mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend. She did a lot for her family. She was a daycare worker for many years and loved every child. She would have been the first to tell you that living a good life and good deeds were not enough to assure her a place in heaven. She believed the words from the Bible, that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and that the wages of sin is death as in Roman 3. Her final and eternal destination in life’s journey was not determined by whether she lived a really good life but entirely by Jesus dying in her place to pay sins penalty. She believed that each of us must personally accept the free gifts of God which is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Being a good woman could never be enough. It is only by grace that we can be saved through faith, and that has absolutely nothing to do with our human efforts. Her legacy is the gift of God and hope for all of us left behind; children: Barbara Hudson Keen of Spring, TX., Ruby Winona Hudson of Spring, TX., Tommy Gene Hudson of Houston, TX.; grandchildren: Terri Lynn Clendennen and husband Dennis of The Woodlands, TX., Sandra Deann Tisdel and husband Bradley of Houston, TX., Kimberly Ann Allison and husband Steve of Spring, TX., Scott Hudson and wife Kelley of Houston, TX., Carl Hudson and Margaret of LaPorte, TX.; great grandchildren: Kelli Murphy and Robby of Magnolia, TX., Lindsay Arterburn and husband Jeremy, Jackie Murphy, Bradley Tisdel Jr., Jennifer Tisdel, Brittany Keen, Halee Hudson; great-great grandchildren: Dylan Griggs and Dean Griggs; sister: Francis Greer of Macgregor, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews, and family.Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Sunday, March 10th.
