Sako Gueying Huang

黃母陳夫人貴英女士公元1940年4月15日生於臺灣竹北書香世家，祖父任職縣府擔任翻譯官，父親經營竹北罐頭公司，產品行銷世界各地，家道殷實。

貴英女士排行三女，是陳家掌上明珠，自幼聰敏伶俐，勤學向上，乖巧可愛，親友呵護有加。貴英女士求學期間，品學兼優，深得師長稱許，同學交往也非常融洽，畢業後在竹北義民中學就職。

貴英女士於1963年經親友介紹，結識台大地質系畢業的黃營炎先生，隨後黃先生赴美留學，仍非常珍惜這份情緣，於是書信往來甚勤，培養篤愛感情，黃先生於1965年自研究所畢業，並獲聘請就業，在雙方父母祝福之下，旋來美國締結連理，開創甜蜜的家庭生活，新婚初期短暫居住新奧爾良及洛杉磯，之後定居休士頓迄今，過著平穩安定的生活。

貴英女士獲德州儀器公司聘請，開始職業生涯，工作勤奮，人緣極佳，主管及同事深為賞識，歷經數次職場起伏風波，均能化險為夷，並且數度獲得表揚，被譽為公司資產(Company Asset)，貴英女士服務德儀二十八年，於1998年退休。

貴英女士與先生的獨子嘉福，德州A&M 大學畢業後，在紐約從事電腦服務行業，並與大學同學Patricia 結婚，四年前搬回休士頓安居，生活充裕美滿，並得就近照顧雙方父母，親友無不欽羨。貴英女士另有認養先生學長翁和毓博士千金Amber為乾女兒，兩家成為多年好友。

陳夫人平日喜歡旅遊，注重養生，熱愛運動，除熱心服務客家會會務之外，也積極參與太極拳班，元極舞班，樂樂健身班，客家歌謠班等社團，生活多彩充實。陳夫人為人嫻淑誠懇，和藹可親，十足客家婦女典範，親朋讚揚，陳夫人一生圓滿，必能安享西方極樂世界。

Sako Huang was born in Chupei, Taiwan in April 1940 as the third and most favorable daughter in the family. Her grandfather worked as a local government translator while her father managed a canned-food factory.

She was married to Ying Huang, a geologist, and immigrated to America in 1967 where they established their new home in Houston. She had a long and successful professional career at Texas Instruments and retired after 28 years. During her tenure, she received many accolades for assisting and streamlining complex projects. Because of her creative thinking, she became an indispensable asset to TI.

She has one son named Michael. Upon graduation at Texas A&M, he pursued a technology career, moved to NYC, and married Patricia Martinez. In 2017, they returned to Houston to be closer to family.

Sako had many interests that kept her busy; traveling, tai-chi, dance classes, yoga, and photography. One of her dearest hobbies was being part of the Houston Hakka Association where she developed life-long friendships.

Sako was a living example of love and generosity who put others first, especially those closest to her. She was also many things to many people and could assume the role when needed: sister, wife, mentor, mother, friend.

She will be remembered by some and sorely missed by all.
