
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Feagans. Sandra and James met on a blind date while in high school. Sandra was raised Catholic and James was raised Baptist. They married in the Lutheran Church and were very active in the church the entirety of their lives.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Susan, Debbie and Cindy. Sandra and James relocated their family from St. Louis to Chicago in 1972 and then to Texas in 1975. The family of five enjoyed family vacations to St. Louis and various adventures via road trips.
Sandra dearly loved her grandchildren Emily, Josh and Eric. Sandra and James enjoyed spending time with the grandkids which included RV road tips, bowling, holidays and just spending time together. Sandra warmly embraced Tim, Devon and Brittany as they became part of the family. Sandra truly loved family gatherings and her home was the heart of it all; providing comfort, joy and love.
As Sandra's family continued to grow, she treasured her great-grandchildren Jacob, Peyton, Lynnora, Marceline and Parker. She was playful and had a generous spirit around her great-grandchildren.
Sandra enjoyed creating art with sewing and painting. She also enjoyed reading, church activities and bible study groups. In retirement, Sandra and James enjoyed adventurous travel to Tahiti, Panama Canal, and cruises to Hawaii and the Caribbean. They also enjoyed the RV life with a few long haul trips but mostly local with their grandkids or RV friends.
