I was Sergio manager.And the awesome time we had together at work was amazing. Sergio will be missed . He was a real serious oriented guy and our go to mechanic. Very helpful and fun . God bless the family. I send my deepest condolences. 

If the world only had more Sergios',  the world would be a better place.  I've known Sergio "Ivan"  for 20+ yrs.  We met each other in a Yahoo chat room. I remember it clearly, he was hacking into about 20 people's computers at one time leaving them without any control of their computers & he was laughing saying  with that  calm voice of his " I told them I  wasn't playing around!" ..you could hear them over the microphone  panicking and begging him to stop, it was the funniest thing. After they restarted their computers & returned to the chat room ,  he happily said " WELCOME BACK!" as if nothing ever happened. He was always making someone laugh.. but the great part of this online chat room was that my grandmother who had dementia & Alzheimer would listen to him & get a good laugh. This is when we became really good friends & he would call just to speak to her. My grandma looked forward to his calls. They talked about food, movies, family, traditions, dreams, you name it, they talked about it. My mom also adored him. She use to say he was the son she never had. Over the years we watched our families grow, been there when our loved ones passed. He was really good at pointing me in the right direction & scolding me when I needed it. We would send car parts back and forth from TX to CA  when we couldn't find it in our area & whenever my cars needed to be fixed he made me confident enough to fix it myself.  I would send him old cell phones or electronics & he would take them apart to make working ones. He was always fixing something. He lived for his family.  Everything he did was for them.  Our conversations always  consisted of our kids & let me tell you, this guys love for Joshua, Nicolas, Isabella & Matteo was beyond the heavens. Some people never get to have a friend like Sergio. We were all blessed to have him, even if it was for a short time. He has taught us how to be kind, understanding,  grateful, patient, giving, responsible & loving. Thank you  Ivan, love T

Having Sergio as a cousin was a blessing. His laugh and smile were always the most memorable and infectious and I would always anticipate his humor and lighthearted jokes. Even with years passing and miles apart, Sergio always made time to check in and show he cared. His soul and time spent earthbound serves as a reminder to live simply, love hard, and savor every passing moment. You are so missed, Sergio. ❤

Hay personas que dejan huella para los demás, fue poco lo que convivir con mi sobrino Sergio, pero lo que recuerdo de él es su alegría, amor por la vida, su familia; él era alegría.  Dios lo recibió en su reino para que ya fuera un ángel que cuide de los suyos desde allá.  Mientras a ellos se les recuerde nunca morirán, hasta luego querido Sergio, dejaste huella en donde estuviste.  Un hijo, hermano, primo, esposo, padre, amigo ejemplar.  Descansa en paz.

The love and patience Sergio always had was remarkable to see. I am glad to have been a part of sharing in the joy of knowing  him and his family. Strength and love to all his family. Keeping you in my heart and prayers. 

Our memories of Sergio stem from the many years he lived as our neighbor. He was always so welcoming and we loved chatting about the life updates we had since we last talked. He was there to see our kids grow up and was always someone we could reach out to if we needed anything. He even bonded with our son over cars as they would hang out and fix Sergio’s classic Chevy Impala in the driveway. We will always remember him as a happy and loving neighbor, friend, and father. Rest In Peace Sergio 🕊

Recuerdo a mi tío Sergio como una persona alegre, cariñoso,bondadoso, amable y sobre todo con un gran corazón como el de sus papás, le pido a Dios que de fortaleza a la familia y les dé fuerzas para seguir adelante.

My memories of Sergio are as an extension of our family through Desmond and Shauntrell Thomas of Houston. We met him after hurricane Katrina and he became our Houston mechanic and he was a good mechanic. He also called us his uncle "Funk" and auntee "Bobbye". He was present for alot of our family celebrations and I remember going to his parents house not far from Desmond's house. I Loved him.

Que el recuerdo de Sergio, fortalezca los corazones de cada uno de quienes en este momento, lloran su ausencia.  Que ese recuerdo, permita que la esencia del ser humano que fue, permita  que él no muera del todo y que todos los maravillosos momentos que compartieron, sean la fortaleza que  tanto necesitan para seguir adelante, confiando que en algún momento todos volverán a encontrarse de nuevo. I have been honored to have grown up along side my brother. He was a big hearted man who touched many lives and helped those who needed it. Sergio and i have so many memories of playing games, fixing cars, going to the junk yard, fighting, crying, loving each other. We watched our families grow together and we talked about dreams we wanted to accomplish. God took him back to heaven much earlier than anyone of us would have thought. As much sadness and pain this brings me, he was a man of faith and he would always tell me to live in today and not worry about what i can't control. I will always remember everything you've done for me and will always have brotherly love in my heart. You’re the best big brother in the world!
