Sharleen Patrice Hahn

Sharleen Patrice Hahn, aged 73, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Houston, TX. Born on February 21, 1951, Sharleen was known for her kind, thoughtful, and caring nature, as well as her creativity. She was not only a beloved family member but also a cherished friend to many.

Sharleen graduated from San Angelo Central High School and dedicated many years of her career as an Administrative Assistant at J. Ray McDermott Engineering. Her professional life was marked by diligence and a commitment to excellence, qualities that endeared her to colleagues and friends alike.

She was recently baptized as a member of the Church of Christ in Jersey Village where she found a spiritual home that nurtured her love of Christ and provided her a loving community.

Sharleen was also an avid creator, crafting beautiful bows and baskets, unique upcycled home decor, and custom greeting cards. Her artistic talents were a source of joy not only to her but to those fortunate enough to receive a piece of her work.

She is survived by her loving daughter Katherine Croom, son-in-law Larry Croom, grandchildren Ashley Udall, Travis Udall, Tristan Udall, and Thomas Udall. Her sister Peggy Rodgers, brother-in-law Dennis Rodgers, and nephew Jeremi Luther and his wife, Mayuko Luther also survive her. Grand Nephews - Austin Luther and Justin Luthe. Her niece Greer Blair, Husband Chris Blair; Grand Nephew - Noah Greer, Grand Niece - Liesl Greer. Sharleen was a proud great-grandmother to Annette Strasma, Ava Rabius, and Luca Torres. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Anita Hahn, and her sister Joanne Shield.

A service to celebrate Sharleen's life will be held at the Church of Christ on 8810 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065, on October 12, 2024, at 10:00 am.
