Sharon Deaver Brown

Sharon was born on December 26, 1937 in Fort Worth, TX and grew up in Bluff Dale, TX. She graduated from Stephenville High School (TX) and then from North Texas State University with a B.S. in Library Science. She was a long time employee of the Houston ISD at Burbank Jr. High, Hogg Jr. High and Jane Long Jr. High. She was also a longtime member of the Pathfinders Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church of Houston. In retirement she enjoyed being a member of ADK, Gwen's Book Club, and Houston Association of Retired Teachers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Thomas W Brown Sr., her brothers Ted Deaver and Bob Deaver, and her brother in law, Joel Semler. She leaves behind her son, Thomas W Brown Jr and his wife Kristen of Conroe, TX, her twin sister Shirley Semler of Shenandoah, TX, her step-daughter Barbara Ann Brown of Payson, AZ, grandson Thomas W Brown III of Salt Lake City, UT, grandson Taylor R Brown of Conroe, TX, granddaughter Rebecca A Gibson and her husband Carter Gibson, nephew Steve Deaver of Austin, TX and a niece LeAnn Jones and her husband Kevin Jones of Stehenville, TX.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pam Blacklock and Gloria Lewis who took great care of her over the last few years.
