Sherrié Marcelle Milner

Sherrie’ Marcelle Dean Milner went to sleep here on earth and woke up in heaven’s courtyard on Dec. 3, 2012. She is a 1982 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School and one week after graduation she married her best friend Russell Lee Milner. In 1983, they were blessed with a wonderful son, Russell Lee Milner Jr., who later in October 2008, blessed her with a beautiful daughter-in-law, Lauren Cathleen de Luna. Sherrie’ is a retiree of Wal-Mart after working for 20+ years, during which she worked her way to Assistant Manager.

She is preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy Faye Dean. Grandmothers: Lula B. Mott and Gussie Ophelia Dean. Grandfather: Lawrence William Dean, Sr. Father in law: William Maxey Milner Jr., Nephew: Lance Nathan Cherry and a set of twins that she was never blessed to meet until now.

She is survived by the love of her life: Russell Lee Milner, Sr.; Son: Russell Lee Milner, Jr. and wife Lauren. Father: Frank T. Dean, Mother-in-law: Mary Milner. , Sisters: Gracie Lynette Cherry and husband Mark; Blynda Denise Clapp and husband Brad. Nephew: Mark Harrison Cherry, jr. and wife Athena. Nieces: Creana Desiree Inglis and husband Richard; Audra Nicole Austin and husband Richard; Denise Marcelle Crowley and husband Gene; Lena Madison Dykes. Grand-Nieces: Trisha LeeAnne Austin; Gabbriella Sherrie’ Inglis; Evelyn Faye Austin. Grand Nephews: Ryan Beckett Cherry, Frank William Austin, Nathan Richard Crowley, Luke Harrison Cherry, Bentley Tristen Crowley, Caden Cassanova Crowley and Xander Riley Crowley.

***Sherrie’ loved her Nephews and Nieces as if they were her own as well as their children and became Honorary Grandmother to their children.

She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins as well as many friends who loved her dearly.
