, 97, of Houston, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022. She was born April 2, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio and came to Houston in 1987. Shirley graduated from John Marshall High School and Western Reserve University. She was active in her children’s Scouts and PTA and then worked at Paine Webber for many years.
Shirley’s survivors include daughter Victoria J. Sherlock (Richard Ely), son Mark L. Vranderic (Polly), grandsons Timothy Sherlock of Austin, Kevin Sherlock (Kristen Ernst), Peter Vranderic (Miriam), Douglas Vranderic (Molly Byrne), William Vranderic (Laura) of Chicago; great- grandchildren Peter, Jr. and Lily; Henry, Catherine, Liam, and Andrew; Dahlia and Celeste. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert L. Vranderic.
Shirley enjoyed cheering for the Houston Astros as well as spending time with her family, especially her weekly games of gin rummy with Victoria and Scrabble with Mark.
Private services will be held at Forest Park WestShirley Ann Wilhelmy Vrandericheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery.
