He was born in La Grange, Texas on August 4, 1947. Steve graduated from Reagan and attended University of Houston.
He was married to Shirley Ann Rohan on October 7, 2000.
Steve worked for Tenneco Oil and was an owner of Premier Tile. He had a passion for golf, cooking, fishing, and his family.
He was survived by his children Ron Cloer, Kimberly Raymond (Gregg), Xan Rohan, Billy Cloer (Sharon), Dawn Weis (Ryan) and Trea Rohan, his grandchildren Blake Stuart, Ashton Cloer, Brittany Cloer, Drew Weis, Nick Cloer, Ethan Cloer, Elyssa Barker, Grayce Barker, Jacob Cloer, and Emily Cloer, great granddaughter Tansley Corbett-Cloer, and siblings Jean Fournier and Gail Kemp (Ron).
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 am, March 6, 2020, at American Heritage Funeral Home.
