

Steve was a very loving Christian man who enjoyed the adventures of life. He had many hobbies, including horseback riding, hunting, cooking and playing 42 with his many friends. He truly enjoyed and lived his life to the fullest.
He retired after 32 years from AT&T in Houston, Texas. Before and after retirement, he was very active in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He was a lifetime Director and Vice President of the HLS&R, as well as one of the founders of the World's Championship Bar-B-Que cook off. Steve was an owner of the Magnificent 7 Wagon of the Salt Grass Trail Ride, Director of the Ranchers Ride, and a member of the Tejas Vaqueros.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Stone Watson; children and spouses, Cheryl and Alan Clemens of Montgomery, Texas, Bill Watson of Walker, Louisiana, stepson and spouse, Julie and Cory Andrews of Houston, Texas, stepdaughter, Kim Jozwiak of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Christina Clemens, Benjamin Clemens, Steven Watson, Ethan Andrews, Livia Andrews, Reid Andrews, Cate Jozwiak and Sam Jozwiak; and a sister, Dorothy Krug of Arlington, Texas.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 6th of June, in the Library and Grand Foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 7th of June, in the Sanctuary of Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive in Houston.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the Deacons’ Parlor.
