

Stuart graduated from M.B. Lamar High School, attended the University of Arizona and was a nine year camper and counselor at Camp Longhorn. He was a life-long member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Stuart was a very caring and compassionate person who loved his family and his friends. Stuart was especially close to his brother, Charles; and his numerous cousins. He was an admired and honored employee of Tejas Toyota.
Stuart is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. O.F. Schoenvogel, Jr. Stuart is survived by his parents, Susan and T.C. Toomey; and his brother, Charles. He is survived also by his grandmother, Frances Schoenvogel; grandparents, Michelene & John Toomey; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Edsel, Key, Schoenvogel and Toomey families.
The memorial service is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 29th of December, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road in Houston, where Dr. Tom Pace, Pastor, is to officiate.
Immediately following the service, all are invited to join the family for a reception in the adjacent Hines Baker Room.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Stuart’s honor be directed to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 22013, Houston, TX 77227; or to the charity of one’s choice.
