Sui "Fai" Jow

Restaurateur, chef, music lover, friend, father, brother, and son. Fai embraced all these roles. Well-known for his generosity, his bright smile, and his love of food and cooking for others, Fai leaves a legacy behind of great humor and joice de vivre. He had multiple success with restaurant endeavors in Houston, Austin and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Ming Palace, Ming's Café, Ming's Noodle Bar and Three Dragon's Chili Oil.

Fai's commitment to showing love through food and sharing his love of food with others was evident, as many who knew him and frequented his restaurants will tell you. He was a unique individual who was able to connect with so many people through his enthusiasm for music, food and having the time of his life, always. This included being a avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Fai was father to Joshua, of New York, New York, of whom he was infinitely proud. Fai and Joshua shared the passion of cooking, skiing, biking, and music,

As a brother, Fai looked out for his little sister, Linda Jow Kraner of Sugar Land, TX, from the time they were young, and he will continue to look out for her from Heaven " Say, Sis did you,". He had recently moved back to Texas from Colorado to support Linda in the care of their mother.

Fai was son to Wai Han Jow and the late Leung Foo Jow and was devoted to helping her over this last year. He saw her daily and made sure she went to her doctor's appointments and kept up with her daily regimen to stay healthy, by making sure he cooked meals to keep her healthy, In honor of his beloved fathers.

Fai Jow made friends everywhere he went and left an impression of love; love of food, love of friends and family, love of music, love of life. His generosity, laughter and luminescent smile has left an impression on everyone he met. He is greatly missed by his family and the multitude of friends that have lost a true individual; true to his craft and true to his friends and family.
