Susan J Verow

Susan (Burchill) Verow, 69, of Richmond, Texas passed away suddenly on February 3, 2020. She was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada on August 13, 1950 to Everett and Valerie (McInnis) Burchill. She was married to her beloved and doting Lester for 43 years until his passing in 2014. Susan spent almost 30 years working for Dr. Mohammed Attar, M.D. Susan loved to hang out with family, buy clothes, watch Law and Order SUV and Live PD, eat dessert, and really enjoyed naps on the weekends! She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Valerie Burchill, her brother, Terry Burchill, her husband Lester, and her daughter, Frances Verow-Tillotson. She is survived by her son, Shawn Verow of Richmond, TX and his wife, Jennifer, two grandchildren, Cole and Caralyn Verow, sisters Karen Larivee of Milford, MA, Margaret Bondar of Worcester, MA, Judy Staruk of Richmond, TX, Debbie Staruk and husband John of Holden, MA, Anne Marie of Fort Myers, FL, and sister-in-law Gloria Burchill of Leesburg, FL, numerous sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws as well as nieces and nephews. Susan’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Mohammed Attar for his continued support and friendship with the Verow family over the last 30 years. Visitation will take place at Forest Park Westheimer 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston Texas 77077, on Sunday February 9th from 2pm-5pm. Funeral service will take place at Forest Park Westheimer on Monday, February 10th at 11am with graveside to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in honor of Susan Verow to the Shriner’s Hospital, 6977 Main Street, Houston, Texas, 77030.
