With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend, Susie Ann Melo (Solís), who departed this life on 8/4/2026 at the age of 53

She was the heart of our family—a woman whose love, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a beautiful way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and cared for, and her warmth will remain in our hearts forever.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, resilience, and cherished memories that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will always be with us, guiding us through the days ahead.

We kindly ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, US, beginning August 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 am (next day).

A Rosary Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., TX 77003, US, on August 14, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., TX 77003, US, on August 15, 2026, at 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on August 15, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
