Sybil Marie Morton went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2015 at the age of 87 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents Greenwood Wilson and Dixie Phillips and her brother Greenwood Wilson, Jr. as well as Curtis Morton her beloved husband of 52 years. Her faith and strength in the Lord carried her through those tough days and though her heart was broken she knew she would see Curtis again in heaven. Sybil is survived by her three children. Anita Burns, Curtis M. Morton, and Debra Hobson as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
It is said that Sybil Morton never met a stranger. As Uncle Earl always said, “There are three forms of communication; telephone, television, and tell a Wilson!”
Sybil raised her children to love the Lord and passed her Christian legacy down to not only her children but her grandchildren. She was deeply loved by her family and will be sorely missed by all. She will forever live in the hearts of her beloved family until that day when they will be reunited in Heaven.
