Sylvia Tristan, 63, of Houston, Texas passed into eternal rest on February 22, 2020. She was born in Edinburg, Texas on February 27, 1956. She married David E. Tristan, Sr. on August 26, 1975. Sylvia worked as a dental technician for 20 years and as a cafeteria specialist for Fort Bend ISD for 16 years.
She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Sewing, quilting, embroidery, entertaining, taking pictures and most of all spending time with family were her passions. She was "Mom" to everyone in the neighborhood.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Angelita Garcia and Antonio M. Garcia, sister Gloria B. Ramirez, brothers David O. Garcia and Rudy Olgin, and grandson Jace E. Tristan.
Left to cherish her memories are husband David E. Tristan, Sr., children Ann Marie Solis and husband Jorge, David Tristan, Jr. and wife Audra, Michael A. Tristan and wife Dawn, grandchildren Connor, Cash, Carter, and Collin Tristan and Sophia Solia, sister Virginia Garcia, Cynthia Gonzales, Elizabeth Garcia Modiesette, Melva Olgin, brothers Ricardo Gutierrez, Antonio M. Garcia, Jr., Omar D. Garcia and Martin R. Garcia.
