Mr. Terry Bruce Smith, 68, of Houston, Texas, a devoted husband, loving father, and respected business owner, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Mr. Smith was born on February 2, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, to Perry Rowan Smith Sr. and Norma Webb Dalehite Smith. A lifelong Texan, he was known for his deep sense of loyalty, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and community. Mr. Smith proudly served in the Texas Army National Guard for 16 years, rising to the rank of Sergeant. In 1997, he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster for his leadership during a humanitarian mission—a reflection of his integrity and dedication.
After his service, he earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1987. He later founded Texan Building Solutions PLLC, building the company with the same values he lived by—honesty, vision, and pride in his work.
More than anything, Smith’s greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband and a proud father. He poured his heart into every moment spent with his wife and children—whether offering wisdom, cheering them on, or simply being present. His calm and thoughtful nature made him a source of steady guidance and strength.
Mr. Smith had a generous spirit and lived by quiet example. At Crossbridge Church, he was often found lending a hand—watering plants, trimming bushes, or cleaning up with a humble and joyful heart. He served without fanfare, always ready to help wherever he was needed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susie Smith, and his two beloved children, Farrah and Kridtin, all who knew him, will carry forward his love, values, and care.
