

Ted is survived by his son, Robert Bohman Leslie and wife Amy Rohde Leslie, of San Antonio, Texas, his daughter, Annemarie Frances Leslie-Mees and husband Timothy Connor Mees, of Cuero, Texas, and by his grandchildren, John Frederick Bohman Leslie, John Robert Leslie, William Frederick Leslie, Lauren Elizabeth Leslie-Mees, and Peter George Maximillian Leslie-Mees. He is survived by his sister, Lynda Leslie Boda, and his brother, Roy Douglas Leslie and wife Lou Marie Leslie, both of Houston, Texas. In addition, he is survived by his longtime companion, Elizabeth Prince. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya Elizabeth Leslie of Cuero, Texas, and his parents, Elsa Lina Mund Leslie and Rob Roy Leslie of Houston, Texas.
Ted was born on July 9, 1944, in Houston, Texas. He attended Lanier Elementary School and graduated from Lamar High School in 1962. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and transferred to University of Houston where he graduated with a degree in Business/Finance in 1966. He married Joan Bohman Leslie of Cuero, Texas, in 1970, and they resided in West University Place in Houston, Texas, until 1984. Ted worked for Davis-Lightfoot Engineers; he went on to work for TWSOD Grass Farms in Needville, Texas. In 1984, he and his family moved to Cuero, Texas, where he started Good Day Video and continued to partner with his uncle, Ignacious Mund, in the grass-farming business in Needville. In 1994, Ted returned to Houston, Texas, where he continued his career in sales, management and real estate.
Ted, throughout his lifetime, was the "Will Rogers" of storytelling and the family comedian. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and captain of his own boat. Ted valued the friendships he made throughout his lifetime, and his friends valued him. His family turned to him for help, and there was nothing that he couldn't do.
Ted was an active and dedicated member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, Houston, Texas. He was one of the first acolytes of the church and his parents were founding members. In 2015, Ted received a Lifetime Usher Award for his longtime service to the church.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Monday the 6th of June, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Russell Levenson, Rector, is to officiate.
Donations may be made in his memory to the endowment fund of St. Martin's Episcopal Church.
