Theresa Bilski Jozwiak was born on May 20, 1926 in Brenham, TX, and passed away on December 18, 2020 in Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Jozwiak. She is survived by her 3 sons, Thomas Jozwiak, Herbert Jozwiak & wife, Linda, and the Rev. Lawrence W. Jozwiak. She has 4 grandchildren, Anthony Jozwiak & wife, Jennifer; Lauren Jozwiak; Kimberly Pfeffer & husband, David; and Matthew Jozwiak & wife, Brittany—all will serve as pallbearers. She has 8 great grandchildren: Amber, Corbin, AJ & Preston Jozwiak; Landon, Joshua & Weston Pfeffer; and Warren Jozwiak. Theresa was one of 9 children and is survived by her 2 sisters: Genevie Stegent & Gertrude Schuerer.
Theresa lived most of her life in Houston and was a lifelong member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She and her husband valued the Catholic faith and enabled their 3 sons to receive 12 years of Catholic education. She loved her family, always making sure they were taken care of. She loved to cook, including her special “Grandma” cookies for her grandchildren and great-children, but also for her 3 sons. She loved her flowers in her yard, especially her geraniums, and always grew vegetables. She worked hard all her life. Now in faith, we believe: “Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.” (Revelations 14:13)
