Tom, in February 1986, you are the first person I shared an office with in my very first job after graduating from Ole Miss in December 1985. You and your Mother were so kind to include me in many social functions while I lived in Houston and worked for Texas Eastern. Raised in a small town (Charleston, Mississippi), you made me feel right at home. And I will always be grateful for these wonderful experiences. You were a very special friend, and I will miss you!

The gang in Heaven is rejoicing!  Tommy was such a blessing and dear friend to our family The Whitakers.  Tommy was a gentleman to the max and always a gracious host.  He could pull a prank with the best of em too.  I know my dad, Sonny Whitaker has greeted you at the gates of heaven and the two of you are probably causing God to shake his head.  You will truly be missed as you were so loved by us.  The Whitakers, Carthage, TX

Tommy rest in peace my friend!!! Thanks for all the great advice and talks about cars. How I will miss seeing your face just know there is no more pain just Gods great joy.. Till we meet again!!

Tommy, rest in peace dear friend.  I am blessed with our friendship and greatly appreciate your genuine concern for your many friends.  I always enjoyed our times together in Houston and Galveston.

RIP friend.  We will miss you.  I will always appreciate what a great friend you were to my family - especially to my father.

Grief is so hard, but our loving memories of Tom will forever be with us.  We were blessed to have him join in all our family functions after losing his beloved mother, Sylvia.We will always remember his laugh and his love of life!  He also loved a party!  He was the first one there and always bearing a gift.  There will be an empty place at te table tis Christmas, but not in our hearts.  For he will foever be there.  Rest in peace, sweet friend.
