Trần Văn Minh ~ Pháp Danh: Đức Tạng

Minh Van Tran, Phap Danh Duc Tang, age 73, of Stafford, Texas passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Minh was born August 29, 1948 to late parents Thieu and Cuc Tran in Go Cong Tay, Tien Giang Province, Vietnam.

Minh is survived by wife, Co Dang, and children, Tho and her husband Jason McCanna, Su Tran and his wife Uyen, Viet Tran and his wife Loan. He was Grandfather to Meagan, Emily, Brandon, Aileigh, Kynah, Victoria, and Elena. He leaves behind his brothers Duc Tran, Phuoc Tran, and sisters Lan Tran, Phuong Tran.

Minh was a soldier serving the South Vietnam Republic Army. After the Vietnam war, he worked as an orchard farmer and tailor.

Minh loved playing chess and tended garden. During the summers, his garden provided an abundant variety of fresh vegetables and squashes.

Visitations will be held at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford Rd. Houston, TX 77077. Tuesday January 4th, 2022 from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday January 5th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Thursday January 6th, 2022from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

Funeral services will be held at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford Rd. Houston, TX 77077. Tuesday January 4th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm., and Thursday January 6th, 2022 from 11:30 am to 1 pm, with burial to follow.
