My very dear Truc Le family: Thank you so much Trang, for sending me the sad message of my blood brother Truc's passing on to the next level of our existence, where we all will be together. Carl Johnson is already there and will be so pleased to see Truc and greet him. Trang, you do not remember Carl, but he certainly remembers you, we held you in our arms as we ate our meals, relieving your Mother An so she could eat and our cook, Madam Chu, so she could serve us. Dear An, we had so much fun teaching each other English and Vietnamese, and going on outings touring around Can Tho. I never forgot how close personally we became to each other during that year. I have prayed for Truc and his family and our close friends at Binh Thuy, every day, and that will never change for the rest of my life on this earth, as I know dear Truc prayed for all of us too. Here is my prayer said every day to now and will be said every day of my life to the day I pass on to be with all other dear ones:

Prayers for Vietnam War friends: I pray for the souls of my brothers and sisters, living and dead, who served with me in Vietnam. I call upon my Queen, Sweet Mary, to take their souls, and the souls of their families, under her protection and look out for their best spiritual interests:
For the soul of Carl Evert Johnson, his wife Ruth and their children: Carl, Signe, Karen, Thomas and Eric;
For Norbert and Kathleen Kanzler, and their three children: (1) Sheila & husband Frank Napol; (2) Daughter Trish (for her recovery from cancer) and for her husband Clarence; (3) son John & wife Pam, their children: Patrick and Kevin;
For Don Garvais & Kay; their son Brad & wife Darlene and their four children; their daughter Elizabeth & husband Joe and their two daughters; their son Geoffery; 
For Truc Le and his wife Tuong An Pham, their children: Trang Le & husband Dung, Trong Le & wife Thu Cuc Nguyen, Tri Le & wife Kim Thu Cuc, Truong Le & wife Bich Phuong Nguyen, Truc Le Jr & wife Thu Thuy Nguyen; 
For Fathers John Calter and Joseph Nosser; and for the souls of Fathers Robert Crawford and Nguyen-Khac-Nghieu (Martyr for the Faith);
For Madam Chu; for the soul of Madam Nho; and for Van Van Nguyen and his family. 
For the soul of Paul Teeters, my good friend and civic action supporter.
For James and Pat Vincent, their children: Joseph and Michael.    Amen.
