Truc Quang Pham

Mr. Truc Quang Pham was born on November 9th, 1954, in Saigon to a middle-class intellectual family with 6 children. Mr. Pham was the 4th child.

Since childhood, he was raised and exposed to the Western culture at prestigious seminaries in Saigon. Mr. Pham was a student at Lasan Tabert School. After graduating, he joined the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, in the Engineering Corps.

From his youth, he loved dancing and had outstanding talent in this field.

He had a deep and faithful love with a young woman named Kim Son. In 1978, the two officially got married and received the sacrament of marriage at Huyen Sy church.

In 1983 they gave birth to their first daughter, Thu Kim Pham. In 1989 they gave birth to their second daughter, Thuy Thanh Pham.

Although they did not live a wealthy life, the couple was always happy and took care of their children's education.

In 2011 the eldest daughter's married and both became grandparents for the first time. In 2014 their second daughter married. In 2016 they welcomed the birth of the second grandson. This is also the year that the grandparents set foot in America for the first time, and they loved it there.

Mr. Pham sang very well. He was passionate about singing English, Vietnamese and French songs. Every time he attended a wedding; he was invited to sing for the bride and groom. He sang well, danced well and had many friends who shared his interests in music and dance clubs.

Mr. Pham also recorded his favorite songs at home and uploaded them on Facebook and music groups. He lived a happy life, was kind to his friends and neighbors, and everyone loved him. He and his wife diligently attended church and always had a strong faith in Jesus and Mother Mary.

In 2024, Mr. and Mrs. Pham relocated to the US to live with their youngest daughter and her family. Although the time was short, they created beautiful memories with their children and grandchildren.

One night in early April he suffered a stroke. After spending a month in the hospital with his wife continuously by his side and surrounded by his daughter and her family Mr. Pham passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2025. He left many family members and friends in the US and abroad astonished and grieving over his sudden death.

The images of a cheerfully singing, beautiful dancing couple and beautiful memories of a kind person, living a standard life, always looking up to God for guidance will always be an example for children and grandchildren to follow.
