Tyrone Fiamahn

Tyrone Emmanuel Kobe Fiahman, 16, tragically passed away as the result of a violent crime and was found dead on December 20th, 2022. Tyrone was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 18th, 2006. He moved with his mother to Houston, Texas, when he was 13 years old. He attended Cypress Creek High School.

Teachers recognized early in Tyrone's life that he was very intelligent. He performed well in school and loved mathematics.

In his short life, Tyrone learned a lot about the importance of helping others. He helped his mother with technology use, babysitting and many other tasks around the house. Tyrone loved swimming and helped others learn how to swim. He assisted his teachers in school.

Tyrone enjoyed doing what most 16-year-old boys do — playing video games with his friends and family, and cracking jokes. He loved basketball, exploring nature and hanging out with his friends.

Tyrone loved many, and was loved by many more. Some who knew him said that he had such an energy that with even just one encounter, you would remember him for life. It was said that whether you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. Acquaintances often remembered him for his beautiful smile.

Tyrone is survived by his mother, Sarah Nyepon; brothers and sisters Freeman Nyepon, Steve Nyepon, Princess Nyepon, Helen Nyepon, Teta Nyepon and AJ Nyepon; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States and Liberia.

Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions of Houston on January 19. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Humble.

A visitation for Tyrone will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
