Ulysses Grant Keener, III, aged 61, died peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Grant was born in Houston, but as a young child lived in Rio de Janiero. He later moved to Manford, Oklahoma, where he attended Manford High School. He graduated college from The University of Oklahoma in 1975, where he was in the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He worked as a successful CPA for over 30 years. Grant is survived by his wife of 38 years, Beverly, as well as his daughters, Teresa K. Welch, Rachael Keener, and Kathryn Keener. He is also survived by his mother, Rachael R. Keener, his father, U. Grant Keener, his stepmother, Gillian Keener, his brothers Parke Keener and Mark Keener, and his sister Paula Keener Hurst. He was a devoted father, brother, son and friend. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
