Verduna Herzberg

Verduna Herzberg, passed away april 14, 2011 at the age of 95. She was born March 3, 1916 in Woolridge, Missouri. Verduna was one of six children; 2 brothers, 3 sisters. She later moved to Iowa where she met the love of her life, Arthur. Verduna was a life-long member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, parents, brothers and sisters. Verduna is survived by her children Karen Schroder and husband Arnold, Alan Herzberg and wife Betty; grandchildren Jennifer Herzberg and husband Todd Johnson, Jeff Schroder and wife Marla, Laura Hart and husband Ted, Kenneth Herzberg and wife Rose, Camilla Hassebrock and husband Randy, ten great grandchildren and numerous relatives. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17th from 4-7pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be at 3pm on Monday, April 18th at the chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Verduna's name to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Park Manor nursing home for the care they provided Verduna.
