Vester S. Buxton, age 86, entered into rest on January 14, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was born December 3, 1930 in Elizabeth, LA to the late Mitchell & Katy Buxton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Buxton, son, Craig Buxton; daughter, Kimberly and husband Robert McLaughlin; grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna, Lauren, Quinn; sisters, Pearl, Gladys, and Nathel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will begin at 3:00 PM with the committal to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a donation be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
